Thiago Abdalla,
Bachelor and Master of Music at the University of São Paulo under the guidance of Edelton Gloeden, Thiago Abdalla has participated in various classical music festivals in Brazil, Spain, and the United States. He has an extensive repertoire of solo pieces, chamber works, and orchestra concertos. He is a member of Quaternaglia Guitar Quartet since 2010, with which he launched the CDs Jequibau and Xangô, was nominated for the “Prêmio da Música Brasileira,” and toured Latin America, Europe, Australia, and the United States. Abdalla’s pedagogical activities are also worthy of note. He teaches at the São Paulo State Music School (EMESP), where he coordinates its Classical Guitar Ensemble, is Professor of Guitar and Musical Arrangement at the Metropolitan University of Santos, and has played a role in the establishing the music curriculum of various cities in the São Paulo state. Abdalla is a founding member of the Orff Schulwerk Association of Brazil and regularly engages in curriculum mapping and the training of art professionals at the São Paulo State Secretariat of Education.
